Create an Experience with Your Raffle Prize

Recently I asked about favorite raffle prizes. Kirsten Bullock commented that experiences make great prizes. So true!

Here are two examples of groups making a raffle prize into an experience worth buying a ticket for:

A YMCA is raffling not just baseball tickets, but a whole experience! (source: Patch.com)

Malden Y Red Sox “Pavilion Experience” Drawing from 8:00am–9:00pm on Monday at 99 Dartmouth St. – you could win Four “Pavilion Level” Seats to Boston Red Sox vs. Yankees game on August 30. Prize includes limousine transportation, dinner at Fenway Park, and a pre-game “on the field” experience.

Raffle Tickets are only $20 each or $50 for three. Proceeds go to help fund YMCA Summer Camp Scholarships.

Here’s another experience raffle prize idea. A plane ride!

North Texans have a once in a lifetime opportunity to win a flight in a Curtiss JN4 World War I Aircraft, known to millions of Americans as the “Jenny.”

Four Wichita Falls organizations are holding a raffle for a ride in an authentic Jenny biplane, housed at the Call Aviation Field Memorial Exhibit. Raffle tickets are $10 each and will be sold up to the moment of the drawing, Saturday, Sept. 21, for the winning ticket at the Call Aviation Field Memorial Exhibit (time to be announced). There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can purchase.
